Bullet points are preferable to numbers or letters for indented and itemised material. They are neater and require less space. Numbers and letters should be reserved for occasions where priority or chronology is to be shown or implied.

The ellipsis is a punctuation mark generally used to indicate an ommision, but more commonly used to indicate a pause or hesitation in speech. Ensure a space is inserted both before and after.
